Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe wrench (gas models)
  • Tape measure
  • 4-inch duct clamps

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, near electrical/gas connections on a solid, level floor.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts and packaging materials from the dryer.
  3. Connect Exhaust Vent: Install 4-inch diameter metal exhaust duct, avoid sharp bends and keep duct as short as possible.
  4. Gas Connection (Gas Models): Connect gas line using approved flexible connector, check for leaks with soap solution.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to properly grounded 120V, 60Hz outlet (electric) or 240V outlet (electric heating models).
  6. Level the Dryer: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the dryer is level from front to back and side to side.
  7. Test Run: Run the dryer through a complete cycle to check for proper operation and ventilation.
Warning: Gas line connections must be performed by a qualified technician. Ensure proper ventilation to prevent carbon monoxide buildup.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Dryer won't start Power issue, door not closed, start button not held Check power supply, ensure door is latched, hold start button for 3 seconds
No heat Thermal fuse blown, heating element failed, gas valve issue Check thermal fuse, test heating element, verify gas supply (gas models)
