Manual Drain System

Installation Guide

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Bucket or container
  • Towels

Step-by-Step Manual Drain Procedure

  1. Power Off: Turn off the dishwasher at the circuit breaker to ensure safety during the draining process.
  2. Access Drain Area: Remove the lower dish rack to access the bottom of the dishwasher tub.
  3. Locate Drain Filter: Find the drain filter assembly at the bottom center of the dishwasher tub.
  4. Remove Standing Water: Use a cup or small container to remove any standing water from the bottom of the dishwasher.
  5. Clean Drain Filter: Twist and remove the drain filter assembly. Rinse it thoroughly under running water to remove food particles and debris.
  6. Check Drain Hose: Inspect the drain hose for kinks, clogs, or obstructions that may prevent proper drainage.
  7. Manual Drain Activation: For models with manual drain feature, follow specific instructions in your model's manual to activate the drain cycle.
  8. Reassemble: Replace the drain filter and ensure it's properly seated and locked in place.
