Built-In Dishwasher

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Drill with hole saw attachment

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Cabinet Opening: Ensure cabinet opening meets required dimensions of 24" wide x 34-1/2" high x 24" deep.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all protective packaging, tape, and shipping bolts from the dishwasher.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot water supply line to the water inlet valve using a 3/8" compression fitting.
  4. Connect Drain Hose: Route drain hose through cabinet opening and connect to drain system with high loop to prevent backflow.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 120V, 60Hz, 15-amp circuit. Follow local electrical codes.
  6. Position and Level: Slide dishwasher into opening and adjust leveling legs to ensure proper alignment with countertop.
  7. Secure to Countertop: Attach mounting brackets to the underside of the countertop using provided screws.
  8. Test Run: Run the dishwasher through a complete cycle to check for leaks and proper operation.

Troubleshooting
