Built-In Dishwasher

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Pliers
  • Drill with bits

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Cabinet Opening: Ensure cabinet opening is 24 inches wide and 34.5 inches high with proper clearance for water and drain connections.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all protective packaging, tape, and shipping brackets from the dishwasher interior and exterior.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot water supply line to the water inlet valve using a 3/8 inch compression fitting.
  4. Connect Drain Hose: Route drain hose through cabinet opening and connect to drain system with high loop to prevent backflow.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 120V, 60Hz, 15-amp circuit. Follow local electrical codes for proper grounding.
  6. Position Dishwasher: Slide dishwasher into cabinet opening, ensuring it is level and plumb with adjacent cabinets.
  7. Secure to Countertop: Attach mounting brackets to the underside of the countertop using provided screws.
  8. Test Run: Run the dishwasher through a complete cycle to check for leaks and proper operation.

Troubleshooting
