Built-In Dishwasher

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • Drill with bits

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Installation Space: Ensure cabinet opening is clean and level. Standard opening should be 24" wide x 34.5" high x 24" deep.
  2. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot water supply line to dishwasher inlet valve using new braided stainless steel hose.
  3. Connect Drain Hose: Route drain hose to garbage disposal or sink drain with high loop to prevent backflow.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated 120V, 60Hz, 15A circuit. Hardwire according to local codes or use UL-listed power cord kit.
  5. Level the Dishwasher: Adjust leveling legs to ensure dishwasher is level from front to back and side to side.
  6. Secure to Countertop: Use mounting brackets to secure dishwasher to underside of countertop.
  7. Test Run: Run dishwasher through a complete cycle to check for leaks and proper operation.

Troubleshooting
