Dryer Unit

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • 4-inch diameter rigid metal duct

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, near electrical connection on a solid, level floor.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts and packaging materials from the dryer unit.
  3. Ventilation Setup: Install 4-inch diameter rigid metal ducting to exterior vent. Avoid flexible plastic ducts.
  4. Gas Connection (if applicable): Connect gas line using approved pipe joint compound. Check for leaks with soap solution.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  6. Level the Dryer: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the dryer is level from front to back and side to side.
  7. Test Run: Run the dryer through a complete cycle to check for proper operation and ventilation.

Troubleshooting
