Dryer Installation

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • 4-inch diameter rigid metal duct

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation and adequate clearance on all sides. Ensure floor is solid and level.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts and packaging materials from the dryer.
  3. Gas Connection (if applicable): Connect gas line using approved flexible connector. Check all connections for leaks with soap solution.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  5. Ventilation System: Install 4-inch diameter rigid metal ducting. Avoid flexible plastic ducts. Ensure proper exterior venting.
  6. Level the Dryer: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the dryer is level from front to back and side to side.
  7. Test Run: Run the dryer through a complete cycle to check for proper operation and ventilation.
Warning: All installations must be performed by a qualified installer to ensure proper operation and maintain warranty coverage. Gas connections require licensed professional.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
